American Palladium Eagle BU, 1‑oz .9995 fine U.S. Mint palladium bullion coin with classic Weinman designs
The American Palladium Eagle is the official palladium bullion coin of the United States, offering investors a government‑issued 1‑oz coin struck in .9995 fine palladium.
First released in 2017, the coin carries a $25 face value and contains one full troy ounce of palladium, making it the U.S. Mint’s only standard palladium bullion issue. Its design draws on classic work by Adolph A. Weinman, with the obverse adapting the celebrated Winged Liberty image from the Mercury dime and the reverse featuring an eagle based on Weinman’s 1907 American Institute of Architects medal design.
Because palladium coins are far less common than gold or silver Eagles, the American Palladium Eagle appeals to buyers who want to diversify into a rarer precious metal while still staying within the familiar framework of U.S. Mint bullion products.
